Hello, On 11th August 2014, I had booked 2 tickets at INOX Movies At Amanora (Hadapsar, Pune). The show timing was at 10.30 PM and the movie name was Guardian Of Angels 3D. I had bought pop corn tub at 11.47 PM during the interval. As soon as the movie started after interval, I and my friend Ankur Aggarwal started eating those popcorns. Suddenly a plastic strap came in my mouth from the pop-corn tub. I took that out and after the movie I shown the same to manager Yogesh Sable who was present at that particular time. I asked him this is the issue and I am going to file a consumer court case; then he started stating that for compensation we can show you free movie and snacks during the movie. So if that plastic strap(which generally is used at Big bazaar to seal the plastic bag) if I would have swallowed I could have even died on the spot. So is Mr Yogesh Sable trying to compensate my whole life against one movie and snacks. This is seriously a big and serious issue that I would take it further in a consumer court to settle off the matter. I have the cinema ticket, bill paid for pop-corn and the plastic strap for proof. I want minimum 10 Lakh rupees as a compensation money. My life’s value is much greater than 10 Lakh though this is just a reasonable amount that I am asking the compensation for.
