I had booked an eticket for AC Class: Date: 24th May 2014. Train name- Saurashtra Mail. from jamnagar to Mumbai. The ticket status was wait list. I did not cancel the ticket hoping that the ticket may get confirmed. On journey day i.e. 24th May 2014, once the chart was prepared my wait list status was W/L 3, which was after the chart preparation. As per IRCTC, eticket wait list passengers cannot board the train as the ticket gets automatically cancelled and the amount is electronically refunded in your bank account. However, what IRCTC does is, they don’t refund the entire amount. They cut 60/- RS eicket cancellation charges even though I have not cancelled the ticket. The ticket was not confirmed from there end and I did not board the train, so why the hell shall I pay them cancellation charges? This is ridiculous.

I want my 60/- rs refunded back to my account by IRCTC. It needs to be a full refund
