I had a informed IRCTC that I have cancelled my ticket however the bank account with which the transaction took place for the payment of the cancelled ticket has closed my account and it was not possible to get the amount back to the same account. I had cancelled my ticket PNR:8436547693 on 19-JUL-2013 how ever the amount never got refunded to my account as it was closed before the given date. Hence I had asked for a cheque to be issued for the same and have also sent them my Identification proof twice however there has been no word on their end on the issue so far. I have had to send multiple emails to the customer care as the refunds are not handled by the department on call hence after sending more than 30 odd emails now I have not received any word on the amount being processed. I feel harassed as it is now nearly 5 months since I had cancelled my ticket and requested refund via cheque.
