Dear sir / Ma’m Good Day I booked one eticket for my brother from irctc.co.in with following detail – PNR Number: 8705925452 Ticket Type: eticket Transaction ID: 0561191167 Booked On: 13-9-2012 Class: SLInternet Service Charge: Rs 10.0 Date Of Journey: 14/9/2012 Railway Zone: SR Bank: SBI Total: Rs 440.0 Train No: 12655 Ticket Charge: Rs 430.00 From Station: AHMEDABAD JN(ADI) Quota: General To Station: VIJAYAWADA JN(BZA) IRCTC Zone: Regional Director /Southern Zone (IRCTC), Chennai During journey he forgot his original id proof so as ticket examiner fined me as per indian railway rule . Later When I spoke to IRCTC care for the same , they suggested me to file a TDR for the refund as I was already charged by TTE in the train. So I filed a TDR complain on 23-Sep-2012 viz TDR NO ekt2012092305737858 . For the same initially IRCTC care people asked me to send a scan copy of the fine receipt for proof . I sent the same. Again after 10 days when I called for the same issue they told me to send the original receipt (hard copy , original) to IRCTC address – General Manager (Operations), Internet Ticketing Centre IRCTC, IRCA Building, State Entry Road, New Delhi-110055 I sent the same by speed post . In next call they told that they have received the hard copy and it’s sent to concern railway department. After this I called IRCTC many times every time they makes some excuse that it’s under process etc . If i do mail , they reply one out of five with same excuse. The refund amount looks small but as I am a student some time lack of money makes me frustrate which effects my study as well as my health too. Kindly take an appropriate action for the same .
