Irresponsible behavior

Respected Sir,

I got the my car insured from TMI (National Insurance Ltd.) and got following details
a) Policy number with Broker code : 913750 (Broker Code number). Policy number 25041031106120003502
b) Engine number : ARZW001617D43961
c) Chassis number : ZP13995
d) Vehicle registration number : MP07 CA 5062

e) Make- Tata Indigo XL Classic Petrol
f) Cheque Number : 023258

g) Date: 16/07/2010
Regarding this kindly note, I humbly say that the insurance of my vehicle by New India insurance Company Ltd. was going to expire on dated 15th may 2010. During this period I went Auto Link Service Centre Delhi (Broker of National Insurance) for servicing my vehicle. Again and again insisting by AutoLink Pvt. Ltd. Delhi for purchase a Renewal policy for my vehicle from National Insurance Ltd. when representative came to renew the insurance policy from National Insurance Ltd. he took the required signatures and cheque ( amount 10876 / – INR). After few days the policy was issued to me. Note: for one we thought our vehicle is safely insured to one of the India’s best motor insurance company, and we were relaxed while using the vehicle on road for complete one year.

After two months when I went on date 21st of July 2010 at Auto link service centre Delhi for repairing my vehicle, they told me that your vehicle insurance is not confirmed. Hearing these words I surprised. They told me I can not repair your vehicle without confirming insurance. If you want to repair your vehicle, you have to pay the full bill. When they inquired it was found that they have recorded that the cheque has bounced, whereas on checking thoroughly by Me and My Bank, It was found that cheque was never presented to the bank. Also a complete statement for that duration state sufficient fund of Rs. 6 Lacs was present in the bank account during the entire period. No information in this regard was forwarded to me by National Insurance company and TMI, simply nullified the policy on there own without informing the customer.

(As no fault of customer was also not found in this regard).
The above information created an undue stress to me and I want to know that-

1- If the insurance of my vehicle was not confirm, why I was not inform while my contact No. & Address was printed on the policy.

2- If any bad occurrence had happened during this period, who was responsible? Are Auto link Pvt. Ltd waiting for some Trouble happens with me.

3- In my account Rs. 6 lacs already deposited yet why the cheque not submitted in the bank. (Statement Encl.)

4- If the cheque is dishonored, why I was not informed and why the cheque not returned.

Hence this is clear that National Insurance Ltd. & Tata Motors Insurance Ltd. Play Game with me and my life…

I request you, seeing my troubles; you will take further action and punish the faultier as soon as possible…
