I visited ICICI khardha branch to open JAN DHAN YOJNA account for my father on 10th feb 2015. The person named Arnab guided us to fill a form but he just asked about my father Voter ID Card details nothing else. He gave us time for 2 weeks to open the account and we waited but a month passed and nothing was done. Then he told us that we have to refill the form again and he will come to my home and fill up the form by my father and he did it. He told us that a small address verification would be conducted within 2 weeks and after a week a person was sent for verification but he asked nothing such as voter id etc. And then after a week Arnab told that the form has been rejected. This was an unnecessary drams and harassment. After this incident we went to SBI bank and opened the account for my father and everything was done smoothly within 3 weeks. I didn’t thought ICICI bank is such a bogus bank. Request to take some action against this branch or provide strong feedback.
