During my LTC visit to New Delhi on 21 01 2014 while returning from New Delhi-Chennai- Trichy, I have booked four tickets through Yatra.com under Ref No 06011427301, and we reached New Delhi International Airport T-3 Terminal, at 1.40 pm on 21 01 2014 from Karol Bagh and we were waiting in the big queue for boarding by all the Jet Airways Passengers, and after sometime we were directed to another counter and further directed to a Lady Supervisor after 15/20 minutes, and they reported that the counter is closed and directed to the ticket counter to board another flight with an extra fare of Rs.9500 per passenger (Rs.9500 x 4 tickets). I requested the lady supervisor that I have to board another connecting flight at Chennai to Trichy for which we have already booked the tickets ,even the counter attendant was very kind enough to guide but the lady supervisor was rude in behavior and simply refused at 2.10 pm, stating that the counter was closed for the flight to be departed at 2.40 pm. After sometime, I contacted the Jet Airways ticket counter for cancellation of my tickets, they told that the tickets will have to be cancelled only through Yatra.com and they informed that it cannot be cancelled at their counter. Now when I contacted Yatra.com, they are informing that within 6 hrs it can be cancelled by the Jet Airways Office only. Jet Airways is playing a cheap tactics to book tickets at extra cost (Rs.9500/- per ticket x 4 tickets) and thereby cheating the customers. Common Man (straight forward working class) like me depending on the monthly salary alone cannot afford to lose Rs.40000/-. This is one form of corruption in our country by Private Airlines like Jet Airways. Similarly on 15 01 2014 we reached New Delhi Airport to board from New Delhi-Chandigarh Spicejet SG-2111 15 01014, Airline PNR JB22TN- no information through SMS or by phone, we reached the airport to board the flight, but the flight was cancelled. Yatra Booking Number 12093045. On enquiring the airport counter, they informed that 3 SMS’s were sent, but nothing was received.With great hardship we reached Shimla by ordinary bus from New Delhi. Again for the return journey, we have booked return ticket on 18 -01- 2014 by JetLite S2-4235 from Chandigarh to New Delhi (Airline PNR TVPYBA) was cancelled and the SMS message was given at 00.18 hrs stating that due to bad weather conditions the flight was cancelled. For the flight to be departed at 17.40 hrs in the evening, even the metrological people will not forecast the weather conditions properly, but Jet Airways simply cancelled the flight.
