Karbonn A18 Phone – display problem in the first month

Karbonn mobile is not listed in the brand list, so I chosen carbon accessories. I bought Karbonn A18 Phone on 01-10-2012 for Rs.9790. I had display problem in the first month but I am in Chennai. There is no service centre in Chennai taking it for service as it is purchased in Mumbai, that’s the bad for a national brands policy. I thought when I go to Mumbai I would get that serviced. After that I never had a chance to go Mumbai. After couple of months I found out one service centre authorized by Karbonn is Deprosys technologies in T-nagar, Chennai and took the phone for service on 17-09-2013 and they diagnosed the phone and confirmed that there is a display issue in the phone and it will cover under warranty and it will take 1 week for them to service the phone. My wife accepted the receipt and given it to them for service. You can see the service receipt in the attached PDF. I tried to reach them after 1 week and no one has picked up and after 2 weeks no one has picked up. After one month I reached them and they said some part to be replaced and it will few days to replace it or I should take the phone back. Again I tried to reach them after 2-3 weeks no one picked up. Then I reached them by keep trying and they said they will call me once the repair done and still waiting for the part. Again After a month I reached them and they said it cannot be repaired and they didnt receive any parts so I should take the phone back. I didn’t take the phone back from them and I told them whenever you receive the part you fix it and give it back. They didnt turn up for the past 3-4 months. Last week they called me (Kumar: 9941778272) and said there is water inside the cell phone and it would cost Rs.2800 to repair the phone. I tried Karbonn cutomer care and every other option and they will never pickup. wanted this phone to be serviced properly or replace the phone.
