Karbonn – Microphone volume low not getting service

I have bought a brand new Karbonn S 19 phone from Chroma , Ghatkopar on 25th August 2014. The very next day the phone developed an issue with the microphone volume leading to very low audio levels or inaudibility for the person on the other side of the line. For 7 days we tried every possible way to reach Karbonn service centre. The service center numbers are not operational and there was no response from their Bangalore or Delhi offices. We then resorted to calling chroma customer care who again gave us invalid numbers of Karbonn. They refused to change the phone on the pretext that we were informing them about it 7 days later. We contacted Chroma within 7 days at their store but there was no one to look at our issue at their customer service. Finally when we contacted chroma and confronted them aggressively they agreed to take the phone to the concerned service station in Mumbai. The phone was returned within three days stating that the problem was a software issue and that it was resolved. Upon use again we found that the phone is dysfunctional and giving the same problems Please note that I am 67 years old and a person with disability confined to the wheelchair with paraplegia. I have been subjected to this harassment by a bunch of insensitive customer service staff. As a senior citizen I would like to lodge a strong complaint against Karbonn and Chroma for putting me through this ordeal. Kindly look into this matter at the earliest Please note that my son Abhishek Ray has purchased the phone on my behalf as evident from the Bill. The phone registered to this device has the number 986719xxx

We need a credit note to buy a new phone. We don’t want another karbonn phone owing to its poor product quality and associated service
