My grievance is in regards with the ticket refund issue with Kingfisher Airline. I had booked a ticket (PNR No. KIFHFX, Kingfisher E-Ticket No.0902473109554) on October 1,2012 for travel from Bangalore to Delhi on 13th Nov,2012. But after kingfisher’s licence was suspended, i came to know that my flight has been cancelled. I immediately applied for refund from the airline. Its been a month now, since i’ve applied for the refund but stilll the refund has not been processed in my account. Initially i was told that it will take 15-20 days for refund to get credited. Now when i spoke to the airline customer care again on 23/11/2012, i was told that their payment gateway is blocked and refund will be delayed. I am not sure at this point whether i will receive my refund of amount Rs5239 back or not given the airline financial condition. I had raised my grievance on pgportal.gov.in to civial aviation ministry complaint number : MOCAV/E/2012/01167, but even after sending multiple reminders nothing as been done. I was guided by someone to raise this issue with your department. I would request you to please look into this matter as there will many more passenger whose money would be blocked by Kingfisher Airline in the same way and help me get my refund back on time. I want my refund of amount 5239 along with interest as well as addition damanges which i suffered to get my refund back. The airline should be penalised for their delayed actions.
