Respected Sir, On 01/07/2015 at about 11:40AM I went to Kotak Mahindra Old mutual Life Insurance Limited at 1, Shakespeare Sarani , Airconditioned Market , Kolkata -700071 to obtain a No-objection Certificate for transferring my IRDA License No.-8829476479 which was issued to me on 21/06/2013 ( valid upto 20/06/2016). Mr Dhananjoy Paul,a nice man under whom I was supposed to work, introduced me to the officials over the counter at the operation department. I wanted to hand over my letter seeking No-objection certificate, but they told me to deposit Rs5000.00 in cash to get the No-objection certificate.They also told me that it is mandatory by IRDA for all insurance company. Sir, I am a retired Bank manager and want to live rest of my life gracefully. And I found it very much humiliating to hear such a thing from officials of such a big company.Please take necessary steps as early as possible to enable me to solve this problem. Please note that I never performed under them as I did not find it suitable for me at this age to achieve their target which they fixed after I passed IRDA course. Please help me to obtain a No-objection certificate and also get my name deleted from IRDA web portal to end my relation with above named company and oblige Your early action can help my family to live gracefully.
