KTM Bikes Bangalore – Service issues

Hi,

I got my adv 390 about a month ago. After my first service at the BTM Layout KTM showroom, I was informed by the service manager that my battery is weak and may need replacing. But assured me that I can ride the bike and if something goes wrong they will replace the battery as it is under warranty.

As expected my bike did not start and when I called the service center they tell me that I need to take the battery and go to Exide showroom myself and get the new battery.

This is ridiculous!!! how do you expect a customer to go and get the battery to be replaced!! What the hell? I have paid shit loads of money for this bike and within a month my battery is dead and I have to endure this inconvenience.

Is this how KTM customer service work?

If you cannot fix this issue I will have to approach the consumer court.
