Lenovo Laptop Faulty – Warranty Issues

LENOVO IS DISTRIBUTING FAULTY LAPTOPS AND NOT ALLOWING PEOPLE TO AVAIL THEIR WARRANTY. Posted this to LENOVO a month back – “I am amazed to see that your customer care people ask customers to live with display faults on their newly purchased laptops. I will not take this and want a solution for the gradient issue on G50-45 , which new customers have been facing for more than 6 months now.

It is a shock to know that you are aware of the cheap quality LCD components that you have used which renders the GRAPHIC DISPLAY EXTREMELY POORLY. I am designer and cannot live with such a huge defect which even my 7 yr old laptop did not have. I need a SOLUTION / replacement / refund and no explanations! I dont want to know what technically went wrong while you manufactured it. Also, all other laptops of the same series using Intel and AMD ( 80E300RGIN ) are working just fine. And I demand the same. See the photos attached for defect identification. See the gradient pixelated and showing every layer of the shaded portion. This is not normal in any world!” I EVEN submitted my laptop to the service center and they say that they cannot do anything as they don’t know the solution to this. If they can’t solve it, they should replace with a properly functioning machine as I hold full protection warranty.

Being a designer, it totally affects my work in adverse ways. Display is very important for me. Also, since I have just newly purchased this laptop, it is a huge loss for me. It costed me 32000/- with 3 yr extended warranty which seems of no use. The service center guys said that they know about this problem already due to many customers facing the same. This means that Lenovo knows the issue and is doing nothing to resolve it.
