10-11 months ago I had bought Lenovo K900 at a cost of 23500 INR. Within ten months of its purchase I faced some charging problem; my cellphone was not charging at all though I tried everything with it. I had contacted Lenovo Customer Care, who directed me to Sai Srinivasa Technologies and told me that this is an authorized service center for Lenovo Smartphones. Hence, I deposited my cellphone in the hope of a legit repair.
It has been a month that I have not seen any reasonable progress on it! In the first fifteen days they tell me that they have ordered a new battery from Lenovo to replace the existing one. Then they tell me that they have received the new battery but motherboard needs to be replaced and that I have to wait for another week for that. And another 15 days later (almost 1 month from initial deposit of phone) they call me today (call came from +914430287916) to inform me that Lenovo has stopped providing service for Lenovo K900 and that they provide me an option to exchange my Lenovo K900 with another model Lenovo S860 and also tells me that I need to approve the offer made within tomorrow. I have a few queries – 1. Please tell me whether or not Sai Srinivasa Technologies, Bangalore is a legit service provider for Lenovo Smartphones. 2. I have bought Lenovo K900 for 23500 INR and the price of Lenovo S860 is 16000 INR (Source Flipkart), even if you believe an exchange seems a proper solution then at least I would prefer to go for Lenovo VIBE X2 4G because it’s price range falls slightly below Lenovo K900 at 20000 INR (Source flipkart) I’m not at all happy with the offer made and neither with long waiting service!
First they keep my cellphone for over a month and now they tell me they are sorry for inconvenience caused and offer a pity exchange! And who on earth calls this as an offer ? To exchange a cellphone worth 23500 INR with the one worth 16000 INR, seems fraudulent for me! You either get me my cellphone repaired or make an offer that seems fair enough! One of the service provider even tells me that since my cellphone is at the edge of the warranty period, this is the best offer I can get, what kind of logic is that ? Does she mean that my cellphone would anyhow die soon after the warranty period of one year ? And that out of pity she is getting me the best offer ? And now that she has made such points, I’m not even confident on how good of a repair will be done to my cellphone! Please advise appropriately and please make a quick effort, I have waited long enough already! My phone details are below – Model – Lenovo K900 IMEI No – 860486023513252
I’m not confident in their service anymore, they have started the exchange offer. I would prefer an exchange with the one that falls in the range 20000 – 23000 INR since my cellphone was of 23500 INR
