Lenovo- TheDoStore- No Customer Care

SHUBHAM SHARMA 76 Ravi Nagar near Arogya Mandir Yavatmal Maharashtra 445001 31-08-2014 THE CHAIRMAN CONSUMER PROTECTION AND NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION INDIA Dear Sir, This letter is to complaint about the service I recently received from Lenovo and TheDoStore (Authorized Online Official Retailer for Lenovo Products). I had purchased the laptop (Model name: Idea pad flex 2 14) from TheDoStore on August 2, 2014 to work forward on my project and studies. Before purchasing the laptop I had checked the website of the TheDoStore for the deliverable areas where they can ship the laptop by entering my city’s pin code (445001) in field (Enter Pin code to check availability) provided on the website respectively and result shown on their website was “We DELIVER to this PINCODE”.[See Page 2] Then I place the order for laptop by providing the required informations and making the payment of INR 50,290 (Payment made by SBI net banking). After two days I received email regarding the status of my order from TheDoStore stating that my order is shipped through Aramex couriers and tracking number is provided. On August 8, 2014 I had received a Message from the courier company (Aramex Couriers) on my phone that my order is pending, then I had checked the status for my order on the Aramex courier website, result shows that my order has received at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Knowing the status of my order I had called the courier company office in Nagpur asking them “when I am going to receive my order? ”, they told me that they were not going to ship the order to me in my city and I have to come there and collect the order. After this I call Courier Company’s origin office and ask about status of my order, they told me that my order has reached to Nagpur and I had to go to Nagpur to collect the order and they were not going to deliver the courier to me because my city is not in their deliverable areas respectively. I had called them several times requesting them to deliver the order to my city and every time they refuse to deliver the order to my city. After this I called TheDoStore’s customer care asking them the status of my order and why the courier company refuses to deliver the order? After this I call nearly 6-8 times to TheDoStore requesting them to deliver my order to me in my city but lastly they told me “that I have to go to Nagpur and pickup my order and if I am unable to do that my order will be sent back to them.” which is an unfair trade practice. As I need the laptop to work on my project and I had already paid the required amount of money to TheDoStore, I agreed to them ignoring there unfair trade practice and decided to go Nagpur to collect my order. After receiving the order in the next couple of days I had noticed that my laptop has couple of manufacturing defects. I called the Lenovo customer care immediately to provide the replacement for my laptop, they just don’t respond properly and they had sent first enginee

I am mentally harassed by the Lenovo and dostore. I am unable to concentrate on my studies and important project. They have not responded well. I have wasted around 1000 rupees more for picking up the laptop from Nagpur.
