Dear Sir / Madam I have bought a LG portable dvd writer Model No- GP50 on 2nd December 2014 from Sun Signs Systems-Lamington Road. The Product says TV connectivity, but when connected to my Samsung LED model No UA22ES4003R the device does not work, I had confirmed the same with the shop keeper as well. I called up the shopkeeper from whom the product was bought and met him the next day, he said it was LG”s fault as they claim is has TV connectivity and he gave me the service center address and assured me that if the piece is faulty he will surely change it, but as said the piece is not faulty it connects to my laptop but not my LED TV. I visited the service center with my Daddy on 17th December 2014 at around 3.45 pm and met Mr Hiral the Customer Service Executive, he checked the player for me in the center, but there as usual it did not connect to their “SO Called SMART TV”. Now he says that the writer model and the TV model are not compatible. Now Sir you tell me as a consumer how do i know which TV is compatible with which DVD Writer. Nor has Samsung nor LG has mentioned which TV or DVD Writer is compatible with. I received a called on 22nd January from lg service center saying the writer worked with only some Sony TV and said that TV had 4.0v USB which is still not available I have spend my money and now i am facing mental instability due to this issue. Please give me another dvd writer compatible with my TV or give my money back with travelling charges also a letter from lg saying sorry for causing me mental discomfort.
