LG Split AC – Cooling Performance Review

We purchased LG Split AC (Model-6AP 3M) on 01.04.2014. The indoor unit of the AC started leaking after a month of the purchase and we registered complaint with LG customer care. The first set of servicemen who attended the issue were not capable of resolving the problem and the unit continued to leak. Second complaint was again registered with LG, servicemen came home to inspect the product, tried to do something with it and left saying that the issue was resolved. But the unit still continued to leak. When we registered a complaint again, the next set of servicemen took the indoor unit to their service center for inspection on 28.7.2014 and was brought back on 2.8.2014, saying that the issue was resolved. As the leakage continued, we registered yet another complaint, and another servicemen from the same service center (HITECH SERVICES) came to inspect, said that there was some issue with the coil and took the unit with them to the service center on 6.8.2014. It has been more than a week now and still no information or response from the service side regarding the condition of the product. With the warranty period still active, we are not provided with proper or responsible response from LG. Having paid around 47,000 for the product, it is now present in the service center for more days than it did at our home.

I want prompt action to be taken against the brand and the service center. Please make sure that they either replace the product with a new, operating one or provide us with any other appropriate solution. Also, I would want the brand and the service center to compensate for my grievance in any possible manner.
