I had submitted my LIC e term application after filling all necessary details and paid required fees. After that I was called for medical test three times which I have appeared by taking leaves from my regular job. Then suddenly I have received a mail that after deduction of the cost of medical tests rest amount is being refunded(more than 50 % amount is deducted). This whole process takes around 9 months. Now this is really very disheartening from a brand like lic due to this only i have given my precious time and money and waited for so long to register my term policy, but now I am in a fix.

This rejection of the policy has wasted lot of precious time and created mental agony. This has led to economic loss as well as directly they have deducted medical test cost which is more than 50 % of premium and also the whole process takes more than 9 months so it has pinched with interest as well. Also I was not provided with the medical reports as well. Also if now i go with other insurance plan , i have to pay more for my policy as i am now 1 year older than when i have applied for lic, now who will bear the loss.

I would like to get refund for my economic loss and mental harassment.Also I want clear cut white paper in which it should be written that in which medical test how much money is spent and the detailed test result which has resulted my policy to get cancelled. Also I want lic to tell publicly that they do not prefer e term over offline so that consumer can not fall prey like me.
