Sir, I regret to inform you that I am a life insurance agent in Kotak Life Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited. INSURENCE COMPANY LTD. I want to cancel or resignation from as IRDA agent for my future job. my PAN No. is AHXPG9218L, URN NO. IS OKM10902150170 & License No. is 10420173 But the Deputy chief Manager Mr. Subir Verma of Andheri-Kurla Road chakala, Andheri East Branch of ( Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited ) told me demanding money of Rs.5000/- for detach or cancellation of license. Sir, I want to know that is it legal or illegal. If it is illegal than how can I cancel or resign from the company. Please suggest me as soon as possible what can I do. Thank you.
