Its surprising but true that Chandigarh which is known as well planned and systematic City but there are many loop holes which actually is known by the People who are residing in this city. Chandigarh Housing Board is one of the Biggest example of the Blind & Deaf Government who has just appointed this CHB Staff and Chairman and forget to ask back that what is happening. Most surprising is there is no Hearing, No Complaint box, No further escalation point. And if you raise your hand to tell your issue, they simply suggest you to keep quite or your application will be dismissed or will be put aside. Its been almost 30 years, we are struggling to get this registered and get atleast a NOC, have dropped many applications, daily went to the CHB office to talk to them. But who cares, staff in CHB is not cooperative neither they know how to address the request or speak to the consumer. Chandigarh is a very small city which has become a challenge for CHB to work on and what if Chandigarh would be big as like Delhi, than i think they must have sealed their offices and sat back home. My Intention here is not to blame anyone or blame the city in which i have born and bought up. Its just i want to request through this channel to hear the consumers who do not have the NOC(S) or registry of their home and their applications are getting older in the CHB office. A house is the BIG asset for the middle class and what if they are in problem and this house is the only hope for them to get survive. But just because of NO Registry or NOC we cannot even sell the house. Please listen to the consumer, they are really in need of their homes. And just because of no trouble i am keeping my self Anonymous and dropping this complaint from the side of all the consumer. In d end, i would like to apologize for any kind of bad words or behaviour in writing this email.
