With due to respect I want to say you that we had insured our shop from “The New India Insurance Company”. Our policy No.is 42070248110600000044.The sum insured of Rs.18,79,000 in which Rs.10,00,000 is for our clothes stock and Rs.8,79,000 for furniture,fixture,glasses,etc. The period of insurance policy was dated 30-04-11/ 12:00:01 AM to 29-04-12/ 11:59:59 PM. During the period of policy at the night of 28/29/04/12 just beside of our shop took a fire incident in that shop by which our shop is also got affected from the smoke caused by the fire in the general merchant shop and also by the water coming from the fire brigade.

We called our insurance company manager to show the damage of good, furniture, fixtures and other related damages. On the same day our insurance company manager send a surveyor to make a list of damage of goods, furniture, fittings and other related damages. Surveyor and the other officers were taken 2 to 3 days to evaluate all damaged goods, furniture, fixtures and other related damages and then he makes in own handwriting a list of damaged goods in which they found approx. 90% goods were damage from smoke and water. He said to submit all the related documents of fire incident and we have submitted all the related documents to the “Lahurabir Branch Manager” of the NEW INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY MR.K.N.GUPTA which is received
by him.

We had sent approx. 5 to 6 times reminder to settle the case to the BRANCH MANAGER VARANASI. And sureveyor.We have also send E mail to the MUMBAI HEAD OFFICE,THE NEW INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY to take genuine decision .At last without giving any information they settled the case and Transfer the settlement money near about 10 % of the damaged goods and send a cheque in our bank account which is totally wrong and ingenuine.Our losses is near about Rs 10,00,000(TEN LAKH)And they only give us RS 1,25,915(ONE LAKH TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTEEN ONLY) which is not accepted by us.

I humbly request you to investigate the case and compel them to give us full amount of losses which we have suffered from the fire incident as soon as possible.
