I had boarded the 2.27 Borivli slow train from Grant road on 24.11.2009.While getting down at Malad,I forgot to take my bag,and rememebered only after getting down.I immediately informed the station master at Malad,and he in turn called up the Station master at Borivli.I immediately took the next train to Borivli.There,the station master told me that since he had no one to send to the platform No.7 where my train had arrived,he had not checked the train for the bag.I rushed to the train only to find that some passenger had taken the bag-supposedly to deposit it with the railway police.However,the bag could not be traced-either by the police or by the station master.My complaint is that,if the Borivli station master had mad an announcement immdly on getting the news from Malad,The RPF on the platform no.7 would have been waiting ofr the train when it arrived.The gross indifference of the station master lead to the loss of my bad which contained sarees and other items worth almost Rs10,000
