Mahindra Quanto – Persistant noise in ABS, Front LH door, Rear Door – A Onwers Review

I am to convey my feelings towards your good concern and your grate REPUTATION. My name is Neeraj Shah and I purchased a Quanto C8. on the 28/3/2013 from Silver Jublee Motors (Pimpri) While getting the delivery of my car it was in perfect condition, though i faced a bit of a problem with the dealer it was sorted out only when I raised the issue at a consumer forum. Another issue I have been facing since long, is the noise coming from the ABS, the front Left door and the rear door. This problem is persistent since after the very first month itself. My car has undergone two servicing from Silver Jubilee Motors (Hadapsar) and both the times i did mention all of the above problems. The service advisors are very helpful and do try and fix the problem. The problems also get fixed but just after 10 days the same issue crops up again. I spoke to the service advisers who now say that this issue cannot be sorted out. My question is that if the car, when new did not have any problems why cant it be fixed during servicing? And also why is there no permanent solution?

I waited for 2 servicing and 6 months for the “qualified Mahindra technicians” to tell me they have fixed the problem, but alas i don’t see that happening which is forcing me to write a formal complaint. Also the nearest service center for me is more than 30Kms away (one way) from the place i stay which makes it near impossible for me to keep going to the place for repeat jobs. Firstly these things should not occur in a new car secondly it is very frustrating to drive the car in patchy roads as it makes horrible vibrating noises. overall it does not feel like i have spent my 9lakhs on a worthwhile car and do feel cheated. I had an option of opting for a Volkswagen but as i wanted a compact SUV i choose the quanto which i think was the biggest mistake of my life. If the customers issue is only heard after someone complains than this is very apathetic service you provide to the customer. Please find a solution to my problems as it is very irritating to drive the car in such condition, or i would have no option but to take it to a higher authority. (If needed i can attach my receipts from the servicings which are done and you can verify the work done from the job cards) Regards,
