Make My Trip – did not deliver what they promised

IN1401B4S022465 : Make My Trip did not deliver what they promised:- I am very sad to say that my OLD CORE Complaint (75420.3.2014) has been pending for more than 3 months. Hence, Logging new complaint. And will raise this complaint at PGPORTAL.GOV.IN with ministry of consumer affairs and at social media sites. 1) Promise: – All hotels will be 3 or 4 stars. Reality:- a) None of the hotel was of 4 stars. b) New Jacqueline Houseboat, Srinagar – 1 Star as per MakeMyTrip website itself c) Gulmarg Resort, Gulmarg – Not a Member of FHRAI, so no ratings is applicable d) Hotel Abshar, Pahalgam – Not a Member of FHRAI, so no ratings is applicable. 2 Star as per goibibo.com e) Hotel Sadaf, Srinagar – 2 Star (J&K Tourism department rating) as per discussion with hotel Manager. It is a 2 Star Hotel in Cleartrip.com & goibibo.com too. 2) Promise: – Complete transport will be arranged for me for whole vacation. Reality:- a) In Gulmarg, I had to pay INR 1400 from Tanmarg to Gulmarg as normal car cannot be driven to that route. As it was not mentioned in EXCLUSIONS, it should have been taken care of by Make my trip only. 3) Promise: – Visit to Chandanwadi in Pahalgam. Reality: – a) Since 21 Dec 2013 (as told by Driver), Chandanwadi route has been closed due to safety issues. Ideally, it should not be mentioned in the package. 4) Promise: – During package quotation Innova or Xylo cars were mentioned for transport in the same cost of INR 70, 169. Reality: – During package confirmation, “Innova or Xylo” has been changed to “Car” with the same cost of INR 70, 169 which I did not notice. They offered my bad conditioned Tata Indica for transport. 5) Promise: – Shikara ride was mentioned in package at Houseboat in Srinagar. Reality: – It was declared as EXCLUSION when I asked for free Shikara ride after reaching at Houseboat in Srinagar. I had to Pay INR for Shikara Ride. 6) Promise: – I was told that my Make My Trip Agent Kundan Singh will provide proactive services. Reality: – Kundan told me that I should have called him to get Car & Driver details. However, being my agent e should have been telling me proactively. 7) Promise: – Package rates will be optimum. Reality: – Rates applicable for PEAK season of Kashmir (April) were charged to me in DULL/Not Peak period (January). This is not ethical.

I need one apology and full refund of my money that is around INR 80000.
