On 15th january 2015 for my parents and relatives, i bought 4 spicejet (flight no. sg-882) air-ticket through makemytrip.com(mmt)for travel from bagdogra to delhi. mmt booking id was nf7901548388944 and airline pnr was n38jvy and flight date was 7th march 2015. in total i paid rs. 18148/- through my hdfc credit card. on 28th feb 2015 i received a sms from mmt about cancellation of flight by airline. i called mmt customer care and they informed me to call airline customer at 98718 03333. i called airline customer care and they confirmed me about flight cancellation. they informed me i will receive full refund. i again called mmt customer care and they said i should cancel the ticket online and reason as flight non operational. i did it the same day. on 12th march 2015 i received refund of only rs. 9848/- with deduction of rs. 8300/- i again called mmt customer care and booked my complaint. after that 5-6 times i called mmt customer care and writen 3-4 emails and every time they said your refund is under process it will be released in next 4 days or 7 days etc. my latest complaint number is 150323-038795 which is pending since 23rd march 2015. i did 2 escalation on mmt website but till now no refund has been released by mmt. please help.
i need refund of rs. 8300/- along with interest from mmt. please penalized mmt for bad customer service and pay that penalty amount to pm relief fund.
