We have been scammed by Make My Trip company wherein the make my trip agent took part of the money outside Make My Trip and other half through the company. We had to get our own tickets and fly back just to save our lifes. I had 2 US citizens with me who are traumatised. Can I have the email address for the higher management of Make My Trip so that we can let them know of the tremendous mental and physical trauma that we were subject to and we had to literally book tickets out of our pocket to fly back to Kolkata to save our lives. The drive was driving rash and we met with a car accident and all and every information given by Make my Trip (on phone and email) was False and Unture! We were given on email that journeys for a particular distance from one point to another would take 9 hours wherein the truth was it was more than 16-18 hours on an average (as confirmed by the locals and the driver) This is in reference to Booking ID – IN1403B6S154680. We have booked a trip with Make My Trip for “1N Agra |1N Delhi | 3N Manali| 2N Dharamshala” and all we got was scammed at every step. The dates were supposed to be from 4th of April, 2014 to 11th of April, 2014. We had to save our lives and run back to Kolkata on the 7th of April, 2014. The Make My Trip agent “Neelam Parekh neelam.parekh@makemytrip.in – Mobile no: +91 7738111335″ made us book flight tickets outside Make My Trip with an agency called ” Soni Enterprises – Flat No – 10, Mahamane Apt, Chincholi Bunder Road, Malad (West), Mumbai – 400064, Email: soni.tour@gmail.com Phone: 28745502/9821863689″ and then the service that we got on the trip was horrible to the extent that we had to cancel the trip mid way and book flight tickets out of our pocket to fly back to Kolkata as we had been put to life risk by Make My Trip. The agent said we will need to book flight tickets outside Make My Trip as the agency she wanted us to pay was her friends. We also have emails from her from her Make My Trip Company ID to prove this! She also said that I should not let anyone in Make My Trip as she will be in trouble. I did not want to do it but she sent me repeated emails (from her registered Make My Trip email id requesting (almost forcing me) to book with her friend). The hotels were much below pathetic. We were given wrong information all through out about the trip and the timings of the journey. The driver that we were given was speeding and we met with a car accident. The driver was rude and mis-behaved with us. When we tried contacting the make my trip agent, Neelam Parekh said she cannot help and we should be happy with what we get! We were stranded in horrible hotel lobbies for 5 hours and then were harassed at every step. Neelam even called up the driver and asked him to drive away so that we are stuck in the hotel and cannot move out.
