I have attempted to book a ticket (make my trip booking ID NF7907046760030) on 24th November for my wife and my son for their travel from Delhi to Bangalore on makemytrip mobile app. The confirmation email was received by me within a minute of booking stating that booking is successful and you will receive your E-Ticket within 30 minutes. However, after 2 hours of wait i didn’t got any tickets. I called MMT customer care and Mr. Vikas from MMT told that there may be issue with server and he then booked a ticket for me with same PNR no. i.e. YM25B but with different booking ID i.e. IN1411B5S167324 and obviously without any charges, as i have already paid thru mobile app booking. Then on 4th of December i received a email stating that “This is to confirm that we have received cancellation request for MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF7907046760030. The request has been submitted to airline for cancellation.” I thought nothing to worry as this ID was from my booking attempt thru mobile app. Nevertheless, on 5th Dec 2014 as a cross check i called MMT and surprisingly they told that your booking with ID IN1411B5S167324 is cancelled. In this cancellation i lost Rs. 3658/-. I even called Air India people and they also confirmed me that there is no booking with PNR no. YM25B. I got shocked and again called MMT as my wife with my son was stranded at airport. MMT rep. Mr. Himanshu came on line and advised me to book a new ticket and whatever the difference amount can be settled after wards and issue of HOW THE TICKET GOT CANCELLED can be investigated later. As per this, i made a afresh booking which has costed me Rs. 32474/- and made thru MMT website. By this my wife and my son managed to came back to Bangalore on 5th Dec 2014. After this started my horrible experience with MMT, which is still continuing. I told them that i have not cancelled the ticket and in turn after one week of time they came with response that the ticket cancellation request on 4th Dec was received thru “IP address 122.163.199.239 . Hence we would not be able to provide refund apart from the refund that has been processed. “. This i feel was a totally casual response from MMT, because how they can say that i have cancelled the tickets?? I have spoken with their customer reps. Many times,,written email many times and even spoken to Mrs. Jaspreet, Manager, and she given me assurance that this issue will be resolved soon. But all was just for namesake. I need your intervention to get my refund of approx 37000/- rupees at the earliest. Regards, Sachin Sharma, Bangalore
