I booked a luxury package to kashmir via makemytrip for kashmir and was promised 4* hotels and 3* houseboats. The hotels provided were not at all 4* and the service level was pathetic.They were not clean (the ones in srinager , both the hotel and houseboat) and the food provided was not upto the mark.I was forced to shut all lights off in houseboat around 10 and was told that dinner won’t be served after 9-915 in night.At the hotel in srinagar, the plates and glasses were not cleaned and water not clean either despite of numerous complaints. Moreover, I was also promised that I will be provided with an innova for all local sightseeing but at most of sightseiing, the innova couldn’t go beyond a certain point and I had to make my own travel arrangements. Also, during my sightseeing in pehalgam, I was provided with a van instead of an innova. My itinerary mentioned about shikara ride in dal lake but they said it’s paid which was not at all mentioned in the program. The extra bedding provided in the rooms was pathetic.And in the houseboat, the bedding was pathetic as well. Despite of filing complaint with them, no action is taken even after 2 weeks.

They can’t return my time nor compensate for the problems I faced. I still face backache issues due the extremel bad bedding provided. If possible, I would like all the amount to be returned for spoiling my holiday. And, also would request to fine them heavily so that they don’t do it with anyone else.
