A one way ticket from Delhi to San Fancisco (USA) booked at 11.03 PM on 25th Feb 2015. Within 10 mins of booking, called makemytrip to either cancel/convert the booking into 2-way ticket. They inform that once booked, the ticket cannot be cancelled without levying the cancellation fees by airlines. They are helpless and we can talk to airlines if they can do something about this. Called the airlines next day morning to which we are informed that according to US regulations, if any ticket to/from US is cancelled within 24 hours of booking, 100% of the booking amount is refunded. Make my trip kept on harassing us the whole day by asking us to call emirates and get it done. Emirates could not cancel it on our request as the booking was done through makemytrip. One of the mails by makemytrip even mentions that we can get the refund from emirates. Attaching the same here. Also, once we have the telephone bills or this month, we can share the same and the time spent on calls with makemytrip and Emirates can be seen there. The whole working hours of 26th Feb 2015 were spent on call with makemytrip and Emirates, and the whole day of mental harassment ended without any resolution. Lost complete 1 day being harassed by makemytrip. 2. According to makemytrip, we have to shell out approx INR 9200 per person for the cancellation which any airlines cannot levy in case the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of making the booking.

I demand 100% refund of our booking amount. (Any convenience charges levied by makemytrip should be returned) 2.Compensation for harassing and misinformation.
