I wish to bring to your kind notice that I had been misguided by your branch officials of VIP Road branch,Kolkata .Taking advantage of my trust they have manipulated and sold me a life time super pension policy no.07749431 with 10 yrs terms,commencing from 1th feb 2008,annual premium 600000/year.

The policy is not required by me and I have never given my consent to accept the same. Niether I am in a position to pay any further installment as I have already retired from my job and have no source of further income.

It is surprising that a reputed bank like yours is pushing a product which not based on it’s merit but based on their vested interest to earn hefty commission.

I had approached your branch to invest Rs.6.,00,000/- in some mutual funds as per my retirement plan and on a good faith handed over 2 separate cheques as under:

Cheque no. 688285 dated 8/2/08 for Rs 4,00.000 on SBI- from NRE A/C

Cheque no 688287 dated 8/2/08 for Rs 2,00,000 on SBI – from NRE A/C

Two cheques were issued to put the investment in two separate funds.The above cheques were issued by me during my short visit to India from Indonesia where I was working.

My communication address was Indonesia but no communication has been made to me .Subsequently it came to my notice that in all their records they had incorporated my Indian address where no one was available.No wonder it was done intentional to delay the communication..The moment it came to my notice I had lodged a protest but it was never responded.

Once again I wish to clarify that I had been sold a product,the obligation of which is beyond my reach.I am already retired and can not pay a premium of Rs 6,00,000/year.In this connection I had also sent a mail to your chairman but did not get the response.

I strongly protest and claim refund of the amount without any further delay.
