I had booked a cab from Vaishali metro station to Ghaziabad for my mother on 22nd July at 9.45 a.m. booking no: 28097523. the booking was done on 21st July and confirmation was received but without the details of the cab which i was supposed to receive 20 mins. prior to travel.But alas, i never received these details till the time of travel on my phone which is a usual practice for MERU. customer service never bothered to send any message or call me regarding the same. For me as a customer, i pay convenience charge , even cancellation charge and over the top, 23 per km as charge but what do i expect good and timely service,but to no avail.none of the information was sent on phone.i even called customer acre at 9.45 a.m and they said that driver details were sent on mail but he has not come and will take 45 minutes to reach or more than that.I was not informed at all about this. Even the driver never called.I tried to call him after i saw the mail once i reached office,but to no avail.some message that his last trip to PATPARGANJ is completed was only received on my phone without the details of driver or his phone number.
Because of this,my mother who is 64 years of age and a heart patient , had to wait for such long time at vaishali metro station all alone could not reach Ghaziabad where i had to reach urgently. Most of the roads were closed by then and she could not even manage an auto from there.she is new to the area and it was very difficult for her to find an auto.I was so worried about her as she was alone and both of us had a very harrowing experience. She finally managed an auto and and had to pay him 500 Rs. extra for dropping to the destination.
