One day my friend Mr. Brajendra Kumar Prajapati visited the MGF mall , where he was approached by one of Magic Holidays sales person. She offered Mr. Prajapati a lucky draw coupon under company promotional campaign by which he could win (if lucky) a holiday plan, by just only giving his basic personal details. Mr. Prajapati accepted the coupon and gave his personal detail.Few days later he received a call from the company whereby he was informed that he is a lucky person and has won a holiday plan.However he was also informed that this plan is only for married couples, as Mr. Prajapati is a batchlor he was advised to come along with his any married friend or married family member to receive the gift voucher.Mr. Prajapati along with my wife Mrs. Ruchi Singh and myself went to your MGF Office at 6PM on Saturday 06/07/2013.We had meeting with Miss. Roni Shaw and Mr. Prakhar Tandon of Magic Holiday.We were informed that Mr. Prajapati has won a free holiday plan of 2 night 3 days and same was transferred to us (myself and my wife) on advice of Mr. Prajapati .Being a promotional call, in the meeting we were given presentation by .Ms. Roni and Mr. Prakhar on two types of Magic Holiday plans and subsequently offered the membership of the these 2 plans: 1 Plan for 25Years as explained to us: We were told that it is a 25 years membership, 1st plan costing Rs. 1,57,500 (Aprox) wherein we will get stay facility in company resorts. We categorically rejected the offer on spot since it was beyond our budget and affordability.Plan for one Year as explained to us: Since first plan was not acceptable to us we were presented another alternative plan. It was of one year membership for Rs. 27,585/- wherein we would get the eligibility of availing one week of holiday i.e. 7night 8 days. Moreover we were told that after one year if we are satisfied with services and wish to continue as member we can join plan one and paid amount (Rs. 27,585/-) will be subtracted from the amount mentioned in first plan. Other than this one dinner set was also there in this plan free of cost of market value Rs. 4000/- We agreed for the plan number two and since I was unable to pay Rs. 27,585 upfront I was given option to pay 15,785 on spot and rest Rs. 11835 in three installments of Rs. 3945/- reach. We made payment of Rs. 15,750/- on the spot and received free dinner set. Later I gave three post dated cheque of Rs. 3945/- each for rest of amount.On reaching home when I opened dinner set box, to my dismay I could found only few utensils mentioned in the cartoon many of them were missing. I inform this to Mr. Prakhar and demanded to replace the set and he agreed also.But it did not get replaced till date.Deliberately they have not given me payment receipt of Rs. 15750/-on the day of presentation i.e. 6.7.13 otherwise I would have known there itself that I am being cheated and in place of one year plan I am being given 25 year plan. We want the paid money back and take proper and legal action against such company and people.
