I purchased a micromax MMX 353G 3G datacard from BSNL World, 27B , Bosepukur Road, Kasba, Kolkata on 17.03.2012 costing Rs.1950/-.
Since the day I purchased the device, I had complaint of its not working properly. I used to continually ring up to the shop and made them know my problem, but they somehow ignored it. Even I sometimes mailed to the micromax office too, but in vain.
I, then went to the above mentioned BSNL World office and submitted the device for either repairing or replacement on 28.06.2012, which they returned me on 30.06.2012, but still it was not working. They again took back the said device and kept it for about two and a half months, and regularly kept saying that they will return me as soon as possible. After a long wait, finally on 12.09.2012, they returned me back the device, but when I checked that, i found that the device given to me was not mine, as its IMEI No. was not the same as i was having on my receipt. I pointed out the fact to the shopkeeper and said him to enquire the matter. He called to his boss over phone, and said me that my device has been replaced, but they were giving me an old device, a used device. When I said that my device was under guarantee period, so I must get a new device on replacement, then also he didn’t answer me.

He asked me to go to the service center for the problem. I then asked him to give my own device, so that I may ask the service center to either replace my device, or repair it, but he again gave me that old used device, which was not mine and wrote on my receipt that he has replaced my new device with that old one, and that too he wrote this when I insisted him a lot.
I purchased the device to use it for browsing internet, but since the day I purchased it, I am moving to and fro to the shop, calling the persons concerned, and mailing the company.

But nothing gave me my device. Kindly help me in getting out of this situation and mental harassment. I have lost a lot of time after purchasing this device, so kindly consider the matter.
