I have bought Micromax Funbook 0580 in april 2014. Its screen was broken in December. I have gone to micromax service centre: Prince Communication Ahluwalia Building Opp. Bhopal House Lalbagh, Lucknow I have registered my issue with them on 23/12/2014. They issue job sheet number – 14103128 They said they will inform me once it is done.They will call. But I did not get any call in 10 days. After that I have call them several time as well as visit the centre. But their excuse is that they have not received part of tablet from compnay and they are helpless. Since, it was my only tab with which I communicate. Few days, I have borrowed phone of my father to communicate with others. Few days later, it was also not working. I have become phoneless. Due to my helplessness I have bought new phone on 15th January 2015. The act of service centre haressed me mentally as well as financially. In recent years, it was seen mushrooming service centre of mobile phones but they are not able to handle the traffic. It is causing harassment to customer like me. I’d humbly request you to sort out my issue & instruct Micromax & service centre to compensate me for loss of time as well as money(buying new phone,calling them etc). I have faith in consumer court & hope court shall help me resolve issue as soon as possible.
Moneywise, they have to compensate me Rs. 50000 for mental harassment (losing my work productivity)& financial loss…A lesson for those centre who thinks consumer is money churning object.
