Sir, I had purchased Micromax Tablet P365 on 2.3.2014 for my daughter for educational purposes. From the next day itself it started giving problem like – 1) Show inaccurate time (despite changing settings matching with GMT/network time set by retailer). 2) At times started hanging. 3) Antenna (shows no network) 4) Quick discharge of batteries/charging problem I showed it to retailer twice could not set the problem right and asked me to contact Micromax authorised service centre (ASC), M/s The Delight Services, Plot No.34, Metro Pillar No.232, Near Shadipur Metro Station, New Delhi-8. I visited the above ASC first on 4.3.2014, they changed some settings and returned the tab immediately. But the problem continued. I again visited the same ASC on 8.3.2014, they told me that the software has to be upgraded and made me to wait for 2 hours. The problem still continued. I requested retailer to get the tablet replaced as it seems there is some manufacturing defect in it. They told me that its processor might be faulty and only the ASC/Micromax can replace it. On 18.3.2014, I again visited above ASC M/s The Delight Services and they told me that the tablet cannot be replaced and it will be repaired and I will get the same back within 2-3 days time after repair. They deposited the tablet with them vide Job Sheet No. given above. I contacted them twice and I was told that the tablet has been sent to the company (Micromax) and they cannot say anything for certain when I will get back the tablet, it may be upto 20 days and company will inform me vide SMS at my mobile number. Thereafter I sent many e-mail to Micromax to return the tablet after repair or replace the tablet with new one. They returned the tablet after keeping with them for complete one month, on 15.4.2014 saying it has been repaired. As the Tablet was not charged, it cannot be checked at their office hence I brought it back. I found that the same problem i.e. clock showed wrong timing and other problems like “no signal (antenna problem)” and battery charging problem crept up. The company has not been able to repair the tablet even after keeping it with them for complete one month. It is certain that the tablet has manufacturing defect. I again wrote back to the company the next day requesting them to replace the tablet with new one or refund my money with interest as I have not been able to use the tablet for more than one month. The company refuses to replace/refund me the money. My simple request to Micromax through you is when there is manufacturing defect, replace the tablet immediately and give me other new tablet OR Refund me the money as I have spent my hard earned money for it for educational purpose of my child.
