mobile stopped functioing

I bought a Nokiya N-70 mobile in Dec 2007. In july, 2008 the mobile was kept in polybag along with a bottle taken out grom fridge for just 7-8 minutes. After that the mobile could not be switched on. Shown to the shopkeeper, he tried to see the problem himself and later sent me to nearby shop to get it repaired. The neighbour shopkeeper could not repair it even after keeping it for one day. I went back to the seller, he said now he cannot give the mobile to the Nokiya service Centre, as it was opened. What can be done now ?
