Modi& Sons – Glass Top Damaged not covered under warranty

I Have purchased one Prestige Royale Glass Top from Modi& Sons vide bill no.272/19.01.14 for Rs3500.At the time of purchase,he has not disclosed that the glass top is exempted from the 2 year warranty.Last month the glass top got damaged & broken when it was not in use.Now it is useless & as advised by the dealer,I have registered my complaint with Prestige Customer Care on 25.06.14 with Ref.no.INDO 436050.They have sent their technician& demanding for Rs.1300 for the replacement of the Glass Top hence it is not covered under warranty.My concern is that why they are not giving warranty for such a vital part of the item ?They have used defective & sub standard material & playing with the life of the customers.Kindly intervene & resolve.

To replace the glass top at their on cost.
