The concerned telephone number 011-26503xxx has been out of service since mid-March 2014. Broadband service was also being availed on this number which started going on/off and mostly off at the same time but went completely out of service in April. It is unknown why telephone was not working but internet was previously but now none of them is available due to cable faults which are not being attended by MTNL. Complaints were made at MTNL Chhattarpur office which is the seat of Area SDO and Area Cable SDO of MTNL and all of them reply that some “MAIN BOX” is damaged and it will take time but give no time frame as if the fault is irreparable. Complaint was also registered at 198 “complaints only” on 29/03/2014 with docket number “395” which got disposed off without anybody visiting the complainant. The telephone of exchange office (Chanakyapuri) where exchange of 2650 exchange level falls hasn’t been picked up once. Also telephone wire is visibly cut in front of the complainant’s house since April which has not been fixed for the same “Box Damaged” reason. The monthly bills are however being generated

Either MTNL repair the faults by any means or give in writing that the fault not cannot be repaired
