The service provider MTS arbitrarily started deducting charges for facebook services and unlimited music on my mobile connection 9143488297 without intimating about start of such services and without my express permission for start of such services. It may also be noted that although no facebook services or unlimited music services was requested from my end it is seen that the service provider arbitrarily started the services and started deducting charges too without intimation. Since the daily charges deducted from my account towards facebook service was a small amount hence it had escaped my attention. On 28.11.14 when the amount of Rs 30 towards music services was arbitrarily deducted by them suddenly the gap of Rs 32 in balance of my pre paid account came to my attention and probe of which from their customer service executives revealed that the telecom service provider had arbitrarily started from 10.7.2014 another service of facebook and were illegally deducting a sum of around Re1 per day deducted presumably daily & charges for facebook services totaled around Rs 143. On my request for reversal of charges arbitrarily deducted without rendering such services and without taking my specific request for start of such VAS the company has reiterated its stand that since request had not been made within 24hrs of start of such services hence they would not refund me my money. The matter is highly unfair in so much as if a person misses to note such arbitrary deductions made by the service provider illegally then after 24hrs the money so deducted seems to be as per stand of the service provider their legitimate dues which is highly objectionable. After several e-mails to the appellate authority only an amount of Rs 33 deducted towards facebook services was refunded and they have refused to refund the balance Rs 110 deducted towards facebook services for services not requested, nor rendered nor availed. Left with no alternative I am writing to you for justice being rendered in my case.
An amount of approx Rs 110 is the economic relief sought with warning to the service provider not to resort to such illegal activation and deductions in future from my pre paid account without specific request from my end.
