MTS – plan changed delay in rectifying the tariff

I have MTS data Card No. 8459985426 vide A/c No. 1024645651. I had contacted MTS helpline in mid February to change my data plan from Rs. 799 10GB to Rs. 600 3GB/month and I was told to send the request between 1st to 7th March as they entertain the plan change request during first 7 days of the month. I had sent my email request for the plan change on 3rd March,14 and I got the confirmation mail on 5th March that my request will be processed within 12 hours. On 7th March I got another mail that my request can not be entertained at this point of time as they are busy in bill processing and told me to send the request after 10th March. In reply to that I had mailed him that it is not possible for me to write them at their convenience and bring to their notice the facts of earlier calls (that plan change request can be made from 1st to 7th day of the month). Again on 7th March it was confirmed by Mr. Abhishek Tiwari, MTS that my plan will be processed on 10th March and new tariff plan will be applicable from 1st March, 2014. On receipt of bill on 7th April, they are charging as per old Rs. 799 plan and they are refusing to change my plan and make the corrections in the March’14 bill. I had made the payment of Rs. 675/- as per the plan I had requested and send an email to them to close this number. Still they are asking for balance payment.

I request to Forum for relief for the mental torture, wastage of time and financial loss.
