No Refund from Flipkart for Shipping Wrong Product

I ordered this product and requested delivery on Wednesday 20th July. I requested a particular deliver day as I do not stay at the address and need to explicitly there to receive it. I got a call from Gati Courier and they asked me to pat Octroi charges additionally along with additional delivery charges to deliver on 6th floor. After a lot of discussion and negotiation Flipkart agreed to reimburse the Octroi charges. However for some reason, the delivery person didn’t ask any additional charges. Reg Installation – Again for same above mentioned reason, I requested installation on Sat 23-July. After a lot of follow up with Flipkart the agency doing installation called up and agreed to send a Carpenter on 23-Jul first by 5 pm, the 7pm and then by 8pm.

In spite waiting till 8.30 pm Noone turned up and agency person stopped answering calls Sunday 24-July a Carpenter called and since I wasn’t available I asked for installation to be scheduled on Sun 31-Jul at 3 PM. On 31-Jul same thing happened. No one turned up at 3pm, no one till 4pm. When I threatened to complain and return the product, the agency agreed to send a carpenter by 5pm. Reg Wrong Product – When the carpenter started installation he mentioned that the product delivered is a Single Bed whereas order was for Double Bed. Reg Wrong Status – On 4-Aug, Flipkart updated its order status as Replacement has been cancelled without even informing me. When inquired about it I was told that I will not be getting any replacement for the wrong product. Reg Cancellation – When I called for cancellation and refund multiple times, Flipkart has kept telling me my issue will be resolved in 24hrs, 48hrs and even told me that the return policy of 10 days has expired which is not true considering ordered was only completed by 31st July and I contacted them on the same itself.

This is worst service by Flipkart and its vendors. My money (Rs 5279) is blocked and there is no clarify on the refund. Also, because of this mistakes, I cannot move into the new rented house for more than 15 days now and still counting. I’m unnecessarily paying rent for this apartment. How is flipkart going to compensate for this loss due to their mistakes.
