Repeated complaints….unresolved and later unheard. First instance of issues were the phone getting hung where only way out was to switch off and on. Then the volume key went nonfunctional. Later the phone touch screen stopped responding and this time i could not even restart the phone since switching off needs volume key to be pressed too along with two other keys and since that was nonfunctional, nothing could e done. I had to take the phone to a Nokia Care in Noida where i was told the touch pad is to be replaced and that it is not available and will take 1 week for the repair. I left the phone with them and followed up after a week but was told it needs two more days. I again followed up after two days and was told it still needs some more time. At this instance i logged a complaint with Nokia customer care by calling on their customer care no. 011-30303838 and was given a complaint no. ‘1-14860012065’ and was assured that i would get the phone back by the end of next day which was a Friday. The same did not happen and i could finally get th repaired phone on the next Tuesday….15 days from the time of submitting for repair. As i get back home and start using the phone, i figure out that the camera flash is not functional any more. I complaint again and got a complaint number ‘1-14909307039’. This time i demanded for a replacement since within 5 months of buying the phone, i had to face multiple issues and a troublesome running around because of unresponsiveness of the service department and misinformation on the delivery date. I was told that i would get a call back within the next 72 hours from a greater authority, which did not happen. I instead got a call from a Gurgaon Nokia Care only wanting to know if that’s where i gave my phone for repair on the previous instance to which i said no since i gave it to Nokia Care in sector 10, Noida. Nobody followed up since then till i called back the customer care again today and was told that the only way i could get any help was if i go to a Nokia Care centre again and provide them with a job sheet number. As i write this complaint now, i am having issues with the network reception of the phone as well experiencing frequent call drops while the Airtel Network reports no issues.
A replacement and an apology for the unresponsiveness, bad service and no empathy reflected by the company resulting in pestering.
