Nokia Mobile Customer Service Not Repairing / Replacing the Phone

Dear Sir, This is to bring to your kind attention that I had purchased a Nokia model no. N 500 ,sl. no. 351680059890487 on 28/5/13, vide cash memo no. 4600, for my son Rahul Das. My son has used the phone for approx.15 -16 months, when the phone began to give trouble. The trouble was that every time we inserted the sim into the phone, it would go off. I had taken the phone to the Nokia Service Centre at Tollygunje who informed that the phone cannot be repaired & to exchange the same for a new phone. I had also tried to get the servicing done at other Nokia Centres at Molali & Behala and they also informed me to go for the exchange offer. My grievance is that I have paid an amount of Rs. 8,400/= for the phone and in approx. 15-16 months it had begun to give trouble , which I feel is a manufacturing defect but the Nokia people do not want to co-operate. Hence I request you to kindly look into the same & take necessary action, so that I can fulfill the desire of my son of having a mobile phone for himself.
