I have taken a Home Loan of Rs.486000/- only from State Bank Of India, Chinakuri Branch in the month of June 2009 (HBL A/C No.30781659834) and applied on 16th September, 2009 for a Complimentary SBI International Credit Card as a exclusive benefits for “HOME LOAN” borrower to the Branch Manager & a reminder on 11.12.09 including Local Head office at Kolkata.
I got a mail from services.sbi@ge.com on 15 December 2009 14:17PM with a scanned copy of “Application Form”.On 20th December, 2009. I send the application with all relevant documents to SBI Cards and Payments Services Pvt. Ltd, P.O Box No-16, G.P.O New Delhi-110001 and mailed to (feedback.gesbi@ge.com whose ‘Case ID No.=003-358-800’ dated 10 January 2010 12:47PM.
Again on 16 January 2010 12:47PM complained at SBI Customer Care (on Line) whose Complaint Ticket Number: CC-1263625627606.
Already six months have passed, I got no positive answer and action from anywhere, I complained to the Chairman of State Bank of India and as a result Mr. A.K. BANDYOPADHYAY of SBI Card (agmpb2.lhokol@sbi.co.in) replied on 25 February 2010 17:41PM through mail mentioning various clauses of which nothing was mentioned with their site. I think this is one type of fraud by bank to the customer.
I also complained to Banking Ombudsman (RBI) on 17.03.10, but I got no feedback till now.
I have complained to The President, W.B. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bhabani Bhawan, Kolkata & as per advised of the Registrar (Memo No:798/SC/11A-2/02(pt-C) dated 20.05.10, I request you to look the matter & take necessary action from your end so that I can get the Complimentary SBI International Credit Card at the earliest.
