I had the benefit of medical insurance for my parents from my company from United Insurance. As per process, I had raised a claim with Medicare TPA for an unfortunate hospitalisation for my mother in October 2009. Even after repeated followups and emails to senior management in Medicare TPA, they are still to process this claim. It has been over 10 onths now and no revert from them. I live in Mumbai and also managed to get contact numbers of employees in Medicare TPA Kolkata who are looking into these claims. But everytime they have some excue or the other and avert replyng to my pointed questions. My policy has expired as of Apr 2010. I do not how to approach them to close this and hence am using this forum for assistance.
I would also like to warn fellow users about the unprofessional way in which United Insrance and Medicare TPA handles customer grievances. Best not to apply for insurance from them, it will save you a lot of mental stress.
