The purchase date is 19/07/2011 with one year warranty. The complaint arose on 25 th april and it was attended by company mechanic for 15 days and finally informed that Panel is not working and it,s estimate given is Rs.20,ooo/- for new panel. Panel is a vital organ of tv,it should have rated life( like expiry)in normal conditions.If it fails means it is substandard and company should share the expense. Here company flatly refused for any compromise.It is amazing at 20,000/- a new tv is available in market.The company should have apathy with consumer and buy back the defective Panel and adjust in new panel cost.The poor response from a market leader dents the confidence. Kindly look in to it. A complaint was sent to registered mail id but no response.
The company should own the responsibility of vital parts which have rated life,and its failure is because of sub standardize item ,the buyback and replacement arrangement should be there,at reasonable cost.
