online shopping – Received a defective product

Order id- 5355265.(ordered in the name of Ligi Lambert, NS Properties, Kolenchery, Kochi-682311) I had ordered Bathroom Scale Personal Weighing Machine (Mechanical)(order no:5355265) on 24/07/13 and paid the full amount (rs 469)through my credit card. I had ordered it in my wife’s name, Ligi Lambert.They delivered the product on 03/08/13. When I opened the box, I found out it was defective. The same day itself, I had asked for a return through their website. There was an option that they will pickup from my address. After that, I mailed them many times and called several times. Each time they reply with a mail saying that they will get back to me within 3-4 working days. Today also they mailed me that they would get back to me 3-4 working days. I tried to call them several times today. I kept on waiting for a customer care executive. But nobody turned up. I have all the communication details in my mail. They keep on mailing me that they will sought out in 3-4 days.

I want them to pick up this defective product. I want my cash back. I have lost rs 469 for the product and atleast rs 50 for calls. Then I suffered a lot of mental torture these days. I am going to consumer forum for the first time. So i dont know how much should I ask. I just want the money I had lost because of this.
