Panasonic Plasama TV – Customer Service / Repairs

I had deposited my Panasonic Plasma TV (TH-P42V20D) for repair (no picture) in Dec 14. The TV was repaired in Mar 15 stating non availability of components as the company had stopped its production. On reaching the service station for collecting the TV, it was noticed that the Plasma display was broken. The service station agreed that it was their fault and promised to replace the Plasma display. Later in the third week of Mar 15, the service station head informed me that the plasma display was not available and would provide me an another TV if I agreed to pay him the cost of purchase. I refused since it was their mistake that the Plasma display broke. The head of service station was to revert to me how he would compensate me, but he has not called or tried to get in touch with me. He is also not responding to my attempts to contact him.

Cost of the TV when purchased three years back was 75,000 Rs. With the display broken the TV has been rendered useless. The service station head has not compensated me or repaired the TV. The Plasma TV should be replaced (TV repaired) or the cost of TV should be paid to me.
