All this happened while booking my ride with Uber on 16-05-2015 wherein i was asked to provide a card number and get my self registered with paytm to enjoy my free ride. As soon as i inputted my card no (IDBI Visa card) my account had multiple debits and reversals. In this process i incurred a charge of Rs 131.80 (65.90 twice) for which i haven’t even enjoyed a free ride nor any other benefits. After continuous follow up with UBer, i was directed to paytm for the same query and was told to go back to uber for solution without actually looking into the matter.
The amount is my salary account with the bank i work for, hence i had a oral query raised for the in numerous transactions happened in my account without my intervention. This has hurt the goodwill of a sincere employee for the mistake done by the online provider.
