Online Order not honored I had placed for a Floral Chest of Drawers with Pepperfry on 14 December 2013 and paid for it in full. The status of the order was always showing as confirmed and they had written back saying the order would be delivered by 3rd of January. After a month on January 10th, they come back to me saying the vendor does not have the order. So in effect they have kept my money for a month and returning it without honouring the order. They have not even compensated me for the month that they have kept the money for

The vendor should pay the current interest rate on the amount deposited with him for the period of holding the amount. This would make him be doubly sure to only show the products that are available and not try to hold customers money illegal
